CAN YOU SWIM WITH A MENSTRUAL CUP?

Iriscup can be used without worries, the menstrual cup does not absorb chlorine or bacteria. In fact, the risk of infection is lower than with other menstrual products, such as tampons.

CAN YOU SLEEP IN A MENSTRUAL CUP?

Yes, you can sleep with the menstrual cup since it can be left in place for up to 12 hours and you will not stain anything as it adapts to the vaginal walls.

IUD AND MENSTRUAL CUP

If using Iriscup with a birth control ring and using both at the same time, insert the birth control ring first before inserting your Iriscup menstrual cup. Take care not to lose or drop the contraceptive ring while removing and emptying the menstrual cup. If you have trouble removing your menstrual cup because the ring falls out, don't panic, you can put the ring back on right away.

MENSTRUAL CUP AFTER CHILDBIRTH

It is recommended to respect the quarantine period, due to possible inflammation in the vaginal environment caused by childbirth.

HOW TO CLEAN THE MENSTRUAL CUP

The Iriscup requires very simple basic care: sterilize it the first day before using it (with the Irisana sterilizing bag for microwaves or in boiling water) and do the same on the last day of use to keep it clean for the next month.
